Should I book my air arrangements through the cruise line? How does it work

You can have the cruise line take care of your air arrangements. Simply check the box in the "passenger info" step and enter the airport you want to fly from.
Air rates offered by the cruise lines are often less expensive than those available to the general public--especially on holidays and during high seasons--and the departure times and dates ensure that you will reach your departure port on time, barring any prolonged delays. On specialty cruises like one-way sailings, repositioning cruises, Alaska sailings, or unusual departure/arrival port combinations, cruise line air packages can often be easier and less expensive.
Please be aware that if you book cruise line air, your flight details will not be available to you until approximately 2-4 weeks prior to the sailing date, and you may not be guaranteed a direct, nonstop flight.
Please note that many cruiseslines have added the following disclaimer in regard to booking flights: "Due to the volatility of air prices, please be advised that all air prices are subject to change and not guaranteed until full payment. Baggage fees and other charges may be directly assessed by airlines or airports. Once you are notified of your flight details, please contact your airline.
