Full-Time English Programmes
Full TIme Courses
We currently offer 11 full-time courses at The English Language Institute. These courses are designed for students who want to register for one year with us. Our full-time courses are 25 weeks long and students attend class for 15 hours per week (three hours every day from Monday to Friday). Students can choose one of three programmes:
Each three hour day is split into two classes of 90 minutes with a fifteen minute break in between. In the first class you study for an exam which is suited to your level. In the second class we do lots of different things such as: projects; museum visits; exam strategy classes; business classes; history classes; debates; cookery classes; quizzes; barbeques? the list is endless. Unlike many other schools in Dublin, you will have a different teacher in your first and second classes. Students enjoy this as it helps them to get to know more teachers.
When you first come to ELI you will be given a test which will tell us your level, then you choose the programme you want. On the following Monday, you start your course.
Progress Checks and Tests
At lower levels, students can expect to be promoted to the next level after every semester. At higher levels students may be promoted or kept at the same level, depending on their progress. While on the full-time course, students undertake short in-school test every month, promotion is based on this Continuous Assessment and/or the results of the student?s end-of-term examinations. If a student decides to sit an external examination ELI will enrol them free of charge.
Visas

Prices
All of our courses are extremely competitive, and we are proud to offer some of the most competitive prices in Dublin. Our year long courses currently start at ?1750.
